Born in Jakarta, January 1951. Since a little boy he won many painting award at the several competition. Since High School, he learned and trained at Sanggar Sekar Gunung Medan. Prof. Sumardja from ITB admired to his work and took him to Bandung.
Then he started studying at FS. IKIP Bandung and trained by Popo Iskandar. He Joined and work together with several famous artists such as Achmad Sadali, Srihadi Sudarsono, and Umi Dahlan.
Since 1980, he often joined many exhibitions inside or outside Indonesia (Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, Japan, America, australia, Italia, German, Singapore)
